Kindergarten
Kindergarten at Wilmington Preparatory Academy is where a love for learning begins. Our program provides a nurturing and engaging environment where children build a strong foundation in literacy, math, and social development. Through hands-on activities, creative play, and structured lessons, students develop the confidence and curiosity that prepare them for success in their academic journey. With caring teachers and small class sizes, each child is supported as they take their first steps into a lifelong love of learning.
Grades 1-4
In grades 1–4, students at Wilmington Preparatory Academy grow into confident, independent learners. Our curriculum emphasizes strong reading, writing, and math skills while encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Teachers foster a supportive classroom environment that challenges students academically while nurturing their social and emotional growth. With opportunities to explore science, technology, the arts, and physical education, students discover their strengths and develop the habits that build academic success and personal responsibility.
Grades 5-8
Grades 5–8 at Wilmington Preparatory Academy are a time of preparation, growth, and leadership. Our middle school program is designed to challenge students with advanced academics while preparing them for the transition to high school and beyond. Students strengthen their skills in core subjects, engage in project-based learning, and explore leadership opportunities inside and outside the classroom. With a focus on character, responsibility, and academic excellence, we guide students to become confident, capable young leaders ready to thrive in the next stage of their education.
