For the Parents
We are here to partner with you to prepare your child for the future.

Safety First
At Wilmington Preparatory Academy, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We maintain a secure campus with established safety procedures, attentive staff, and a supportive environment where children feel protected and cared for each day. From arrival to dismissal, we are committed to providing a safe space that allows students to focus on learning, growing, and thriving with confidence.

Arriving at School
To ensure a safe and smooth start to the day, Wilmington Preparatory Academy has a structured arrival process for all students. Morning drop-off begins at 7:45 am, with staff members on-site to greet students and assist them as they enter the building. Parents are asked to follow the designated traffic flow and drop-off zones to keep the process efficient and secure. Students should arrive prepared for the day, ready to transition into their classrooms and begin learning on time. Our goal is to make each morning calm, welcoming, and safe for every child.

Uniform
At Wilmington Preparatory Academy, uniforms create a sense of unity, pride, and focus among our students. By wearing the school uniform each day, students are encouraged to concentrate on their learning while representing the values of respect and excellence that define our school community. Uniform guidelines are designed to be simple, professional, and comfortable, helping students feel confident and prepared for success.

Holidays & Absence
Wilmington Preparatory Academy follows a set academic calendar that includes designated school holidays and breaks. Families are encouraged to plan vacations and travel during these scheduled times to minimize interruptions to learning. Extended absences outside of the school calendar can affect a child’s academic progress, so we ask that parents notify the school in advance if travel or special circumstances require additional days away. Our goal is to work together to support both family needs and each student’s continued academic success.
